The first branch of the Armenian Identification Card (HyeID) organization was founded in Glendale

Glendale, CA – The Board of Trustees of the nonprofit Armenian Identification Card (HyeID) announces the launch of the Glendale Chapter of HyeID.

The Armenian Identification Card organization’s Glendale chapter is the first in a list of chapters that will be active in many countries around the world. More than 30 cardholders have already registered. A large number of Armenians living all over the world continue to apply to the organization to receive the Armenian ID Card.

The HyeID cardholders who joined the organization not only participate in various local and all-Armenian programs, but also receive discounts on goods and services purchased with the card. Half of the money saved as a result of the discount stays with the cardholder, and the other half is sent to HyeID to implement programs approved by the cardholders. In addition, HyeID sends a part of the savings from the discount to the Armenian organization indicated by the card holder.

With the increased number of HyeID cardholders, the second stage will give Diaspora Armenian cardholders 18 years old and up the opportunity to directly elect and be elected to the Armenian Parliament of the Diaspora. This is a long cherished dream of Diaspora Armenians worldwide. The Diaspora Armenian Parliament will be formed through democratic elections in predetermined constituencies.

The HyeID Board of Trustees urges Armenians around the world to join HyeID programs as soon as possible by obtaining an Armenian ID card. “The time has come for all Armenian people to self-organize, unite to plan and implement all-Armenian programs, and to bring issues of concern to the Armenian people to various local and governmental platforms,” noted the HyeID representative.

All those interested in joining HyeID to participate in the implementation of national programs as well as the formation of the future Armenian Parliament of the Diaspora are asked to visit the HyeID.org website to fill out an application form.
